TINY INK MOBILE APP
Digital Product
Discover and book minimalist tattoo designs with meaning.
Tiny Ink is a mobile app concept designed to help users discover and book small meaningful tattoos. The experience focuses on simplicity, guiding users through exploring designs, connecting with artists, and scheduling appointments with ease.
The project emphasizes clean visual design, intuitive navigation, and a user-centered approach to reduce friction in the tattoo discovery and booking process.
The Challenge
Finding the right tattoo artist and design can be overwhelming, especially for users seeking small, meaningful tattoos. Inconsistent booking processes, limited availability, and unclear next steps make scheduling difficult and add to the intimidation of visiting a tattoo studio
My Role
Instructional Designer & UX Designer
Led the concept, user research, wireframing, and visual design in Figma.
The Approach
I used a user-centered design approach to understand user needs, define key pain points, and guide the development of a simple, intuitive experience. This included persona development, user flows, and iterative wireframing in Figma.
Personas
Research identified key user types, including first-time clients, travelers, and individuals seeking meaningful, minimalist tattoo designs.
Mood Board/Pattern Board
The visual direction focuses on minimalism, soft neutral tones, and delicate fine-line aesthetics to reflect the emotional and personal nature of small tattoos.
Prototypes
The final design delivers a clean, modern, and intuitive mobile experience that simplifies how users discover tattoo designs, connect with artists, and book appointments.
The interface prioritizes clarity, accessibility, and streamlined navigation, reducing friction across the user journey. A cohesive visual system aligns with the Tiny Ink concept while supporting a more engaging and user-friendly experience.
